Here’s a simple update for the Last.fm Music Charts widget:

The list of changes are as follows:

  • The Widget will now automatically link to your Last.fm profile.
  • The Audioscrobbler logo is no longer displayed.
  • Uses <p> tags rather than <center> for HTML.

I’ll probably make a few more modifications in the future, so check back later.  If there’s anything wrong or anything you want to see the plugin do, email me at the link in the sidebar.  Reasonable requests will lead to future versions.

Last.fm Music Charts

I am now releasing Version 0.1 of my Last.fm widget for Wordpress blogs. To download, click here: http://collegegeek.org/files/lastfm.php.tar.gz. Currently, the widget doesn’t support changing themes, but I’ll work on that later. Give it a try and email me. The widget was modified from the Google search widget, so there is still some leftover comments from the original widget, but it works fine.

Update: The version of lastfm.php (above) has been upgraded to version 0.5. The plugin now supports alternate themes, you just have to be sure to use the exact same name as the theme you want from last.fm.

Update: I’m now releasing version 1.0. This version now supports multiple chart types. Future versions (1.1+) will add support for javascript charts for more dynamic content.
